Barbara Bertoldi was born and raised in Northern Italy. A qualified pattern cutter and fashion designer graduated in Milan, she began studying fashion at the age of 15 and for the past two decades has been at the centre of the industry.
After years of working for one of the top names in the bridal industry and one of Italy’s top Cashmere producing labels, Bertoldi was opened in Bristol, and with it came a completely new concept of what tailoring could be.
“I moved to Bristol in 2004 with a unique approach and the idea to open a studio that would take into consideration all the different aspects of fashion & tailoring. As well as handling basic alterations, e.g. shortening a pair of trousers, we would offer the most complicated and sophisticated complete restyling and reconstruction of garments. Finally we would offer our customers the opportunity of made to measure, bespoke outfits, designed & created by us, in-house.”
With a team of four in-house tailors Bertoldi aim to offer the best personal service, professional advice and all in a friendly environment. Services include:
